Food is very well prepared. It is a small spot, that by 1st glance you may overlook. I found them online while driving for work so I happened to be in the area. Food is very delicious, I highly recommend, I gave 4 for the atmosphere because as I said it is easy to overlook but if you get a chance check them out.
I had an amazing experience at Soul City! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was incredible. The staff was so welcoming, and they even allowed me to taste test the food before ordering, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. I had the catfish, cabbage and mac and cheese. The catfish is the best I've had in New York. The cabbage was good but the Mac was too dry. Not enough cheese. Overall, I would give them an 8.5. If the mac and cheese had more cheese then I would have given them a 10. It was good just too dry and not enough cheese.
