Spicy moon is a great place for some good vegan food! All the chicken dishes taste like actual real meat, and it doesn’t feel like you’re eating vegan meat. The vegan meat dishes I tried which were the kung pao style and the chicken and broccoli which were bursting with flavor and truly delicious. They had a good mix of the sauces in it. I wanted to give it 4.5, food was 5 on 5. We ordered spicy wonton and dan dan noodles. Spicy wontons were as good as they can get, chili oil had a good punch and the filling was damn awesome. Dan dan noodles were really great, tasted like salty and savory first but after 2-3 bites the taste started to fit in, it's like getting acquired to that taste on spot. We absolutely loved it. Im from Montreal and hadn’t been to Spicy Moon since my last visit to NYC in 2022. I remembered it being really good so my expectations were high. I’m pleased to say the food and service surpassed my expectations. I came twice on our 3 day trip. My wife and I were travelling with our 15 month old daughter and the staff was very accommodating. I believe our server was named « Kalil », he was very friendly, professional and recommended us the Kung Pao style tofu and DanDan noodles. Both we so good
