As a cinnamon roll lover, I'm very picky when it comes to cinnamon rolls, and honestly, the only ones I usually enjoy are from Cinnabon. That said, this bakery absolutely does them right! Thrilled that I was finally able to try Sunday Morning after my first attempt ended with them being sold out by the time I arrived. If possible, I highly recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the long lines. I stopped by around 11am on a Tuesday and had no wait at all. There were even a few open tables which was a pleasant surprise. Since it was my first visit, the staff recommended the cream cheese cinnamon roll, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Sunday Morning in NYC is one of those places that just makes you happy. It feels warm and welcoming and like the perfect way to start the day. I am a huge cinnamon roll guy and these were unreal. Soft, gooey, perfectly spiced, and honestly hard to stop thinking about. I am already looking forward to going back and next time I am definitely bringing my family and friends. Everyone needs to try these cinnamon rolls.
