First time at Tokahachi after seeing good reviews and craving Japanese food in the East Village. We ordered the sushi set for two with miso soup. The miso soup was good, but the regular rolls were just okay, some were falling apart because the rice didn’t hold well. The best thing we tried was the Twins Roll from the special menu with crab, really delicious. The plum white wine, unfortunately, was not good at all. Takahachi is a staple. It’s always good and the service is always amazing. Amazing quality and a unique menu with options you won’t find at most sushi restaurants. Highly recommend!
