I love this little tea shop that’s specialized in Taiwanese oolong tea! You really get a a great selection of high quality oolong tea and Taiwanese sweets. I love how elegant everything is, from the vibe to the tea to the taste. The Oriental Beauty is my favorite tea here. And do ask the staff how tea leaves are grown because it has a fascinating story behind it! The scallion pork biscuit is so delicious! And I would have never imagined those three words would be put in a sentence. 😆 The space
So happy we stumbled upon this fabulous tea shop in the East Village. First, it is just the cutest, most relaxing spot. The tea selection is primarily Oolongs, but have so many to choose from of varying flavor profiles. They offer flights and pots that they steep at your table - 3 steeps per pot. They offer a variety of baked treats that are FABULOUS! But - the best part of our visit was the wonderful staff!! Our waitress, Annie Belle - was just wonderful. An oasis in the city - a cup of Iron Goddess tea and the pineapple linzer here is a weekly ritual at this point. The pineapple linzer is truly divine, and that’s not an exaggeration. The yuzu kosho on it is what makes this linzer so special to me - incredibly dimensional and perfectly balanced. It pairs so perfectly with tea. Love this place so much
