Finding a late-night spot, being welcomed warmly right before closing, and enjoying an excellent meal. We were looking for a restaurant that closed late. We went to this restaurant yesterday called, "The Silent Sea" with my friends. The menu looks so delicious and they closed at midnight. We live in New Jersey but once we heard about the "Silent Sea" Greek Restaurant we drove to City Island. And you know what?! It was worth the drive! The ambiance was very well decorated giving you the vibe of being in Greece! Located in front of the water, with Greek songs on the background, with natural flowers on the tables, and the white table clothes, the "Silent Sea" got our hearts. The Mediterranean Salad, the Fried Sardine, Grilled Callamari and Sea Food Linguine made our dinner delicious
Food and SERVICE excellent. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. David the waiter was on top of everything.
