Small shop, up a flight of stairs (so not accessible for those who can't use stairs), looks and feels like it's been around for a while. They have a few stools and you can sit to eat. Ordered an aloo paneer roll, which shouldn't be spicy per the menu, but ended up being spicy (actually quite spice-laden, too). No general water cups around - maybe I had to ask. And for cash, no extra charge (they do take credit card). Overall I find the Kati Roll across the street better.
Thelewala in the Village is a great spot if you’re looking for quick, flavorful Indian street food. I tried the rolls, and they were packed with flavor the kind of seasoning that hits right away but still feels balanced. The texture of the bread and the filling together makes it really satisfying. The hot sauce is another standout. It’s actually spicy, not watered down or mild, and has a deep, rich flavor that works perfectly with the rolls. You can tell it’s made with care because it adds heat
Ordered a bhel puri with chai. A good place for three to five people but good service. If you come with more folks you can wait outside tho. Service is quick and food is great. Honestly a spot for satisfying indian cravings.
