Need a place to relax? Just passing through the city? Whenever I’m in NYC you’ll find me at Three Jewels. It’s the perfect spot for all things mindfulness. The yoga is heart-melting, the teachers are incredible (I’ve taken classes with Sachi, Megan, and Rachel. They’re all phenomenal), and everyone is always up for a good philosophical conversation. I’m especially grateful for how thoughtful and intentional the space is. the 3J community truly focuses on helping people uncover their best selves
I spent a a few months at Three Jewels, and my experience was not what I expected. Initially, it seemed like a peaceful and supportive community, but over time, I began to feel uncomfortable with certain practices and the overall atmosphere. There were moments where I felt that things were not transparent, and I became increasingly concerned. I encourage anyone interested in joining to do thorough research and look at both positive and negative reviews from various sources, including online foru
Nicole is amazing! I LOVE! On this day she suggested trying no music for this Ashtanga sequence, but rather invited us to listen to the breath. It was cool to try something different and move to the rhythm of my breath supported by the breath in the room. Nicole set the tone with this gentle suggestion and her brief, concise talk that gave space for setting an intention and dedicating our practice. Her timing and pacing was on point, allowing for the full sequence and a juicy svasana at the end.
