This is a fun little bar that mainly emphasizes table seating over sitting at a bar. Reservations are recommended but we were able to sit/stand at the bar which was accommodating for our party of 4 Drinks are great as they have a decent variety of sake and some Japanese whiskey, which is why we came here. Food went crazy hard, and was all very delicious, servers were fun and friendly. The choosing a song that gets played during dinner is also very cool. I’d do this again in a heart beat. They also accommodated my nut allergy at no detriment to the flavor of the meal. It was also very cool to get to speak to the executive chef throughout the meal she was very nice and was very excited to hear how we felt about the food.
Choosing this was partially because of the music. It’s probably different everyday but the grove was smooth and melodic on this day, which is my steez. 👍🏽The adult beverages are crafted well and the cost reflects that. 👍🏽The service is casual & professional. 📝This is a very young crowd, as is many spots near NYU.
