If you're looking for some of the best Dominican food in the US, it's here - down a few steps, in this pool hall. Everything was delicious, and I absolutely loved the habichuelas (beans). The gallina was tender to the point it was falling off the bone, and the rice was fluffy and full of flavor. This is truly a place where you can taste the love.
Saw the restaurant on YouTube and decided to go. Not sure what I got. But it was amazing. The beans were excellent, full of flavor and not over powering. The pork was nice and tender, used a plastic knife to cut easily. The place itself is honestly a questionable place, hole in the wall place. However the chef Anita and the server (seen on YouTube) were amazing. $20 for two people. Salad (not pictures) was also included
The best Dominican food at any restaurant in the whole New York! Honestly high-end restaurants can never compare to the quality and the home made Dominican mothers cooking!
