This little ice cream shop is a great spot to stop if you’re looking for a treat after a burger or something at one of the nearby restaurants. It’s not a very big shop, but it’s still nice, and they are more than happy to give you some samples before you place your order. Lots of really fun flavors, too!
Van Leeuwen ice cream really is a New York staple and the flavors here are great. My only issue is how expensive they are for even a single small scope in a cup. I guess you do end up paying for the quality and freshness. Price aside, the flavor options here are always intriguing and you can’t go wrong. If you do shell out for the ice cream it is very creamy and tasty and perfect for a summers day.
Super yummy icecream….i wanted to sample every flavor!!!! The worker was super friendly. It is super expensive….but super yummy with unique flavors!
