Ate here today with friends. We got the cauliflower and achari chicken kebabs as apps. The cauliflower was meh but the chicken was excellent. Great pickled flavor and well cooked. I got the teekan murg, another friend got the jackfruit Biryani, and the third got lamb saag. The Achari Paneer was decent but lacked the signature achari punch I was hoping for (6/10). Veeray Da Dhaba is located Downtown NYC. We were very excited to try this out because we’re huge fans of Dhaba style food, which typically are road side restaurants that cook their 6-8 dishes in bulk for the day. Dhaba food is supposed to be the most authentic food in India. Veeray Da Dhaba had very friendly service. They were quick to get a table ready for us; we were 15 minutes ahead of our reservation.
