Dropped by Winson Bakery down on 2nd Avenue around 10:00 AM after a long morning run, and it was the absolute perfect way to refuel. Since we beat the peak rush, there were no lines outside and we managed to get seated in about 10 minutes or less. However, you can definitely tell this place gets much busier as the day goes on! the food definitely didn’t taste like traditional taiwanese food at all, but it was still really yummy ! the bec scallion pancake was served super hot right off the griddle, with the pancake having a crispy pan-fried exterior, soft and chewy texture, and an oily but fragrant taste from the scallions. it was SUPPERRR gooey and cheesy, the bacon was flavourful and salty, but the BEST PART was definitely the unique sauce on the side — it was so tangy and had a really special, bright ginger taste t
The hype is correct on this place. The famous bacon egg and cheese scallion pancake was fantastic (I would suggest sharing as it's heavy) and t g e toffee chocolate chip cookie is good. I'll return to try other items as it all looked delicious. Spacious seating inside and outside and fast service as well.
