Stopped by for a workday lunch and had a wonderful meal. The steak was the highlight, perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, juicy, and with a beautiful crust on the outside. But the crab cake was just ok. The biggest surprise was the service: our server kindly created a delicious off-menu mocktail for me, which made the experience even more special.
We were able to get a table at Wolfgang’s in Tribeca, which is still a solid choice in NYC. Porterhouse for 2, grilled veggies plate, and a shrimp cocktail. The iced tea was $6 and didn’t come with refills! Haha. Our business trip here went phenomenally and we will be back in the spring for more based on that success. We are very thankful! Loved the vibe here! It's spacious and feels like a high-end food hall and the service is some of the friendliest I’ve encountered lately. The Hits: The Bolognese (huge portion!) and those crispy fries. The Misses: The Caesar salad was a letdown—way too much dressing and a pasty texture. The Grana Padano they grate over the salad is world-class. The shrimp cocktail was just "okay."
