Wow, wow, wow. Easily one of my new favorite restaurants in Tribeca. We started with the bread, and the butter compote it came with was unreal. So rich and flavorful. We shared the French onion soup, which was absolutely to die for. The steak frites came with these incredibly flavorful, thin and crispy potatoes, and the chicken schnitzel was perfectly thin and crispy with an egg on top. A must order. This place used to be such a quiet little cozy spot, it really has such nice lighting and good decor. But lately when I’ve been, the music has been excruciating and way too loud and bombastic. And I think as a result, it’s now bombarded by bozos and buffoons. It’s so hard to find quiet, calm places with warm lighting and good atmosphere, I’m so sad this place changed Such a noticeable atmospheric downgrade.
