Tried this place on a whim and it was surprisingly good. Loved the chicken burrito! The rice inside was well seasoned. Everything overall was flavorful. The birria tacos are a rare thing to find so that shocked me. I ordered via uber eats on a Sunday night around 9pm. I honestly wasnt expecting much because it was close to closing time but im glad i went through with the order. I would definitely recommend this place

I live nearby and have ordered the make-your-own salads several times. They are usually excellent, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Today, the fresh mozzarella in both my salad and my daughter's salad appeared to be spoiled. It had a rancid taste, almost as if it had been thawed after being frozen and had gone bad. Beautiful bar for catching up with friends or getting in a warm date in the winter. The drinks are solid standard fare; I preferred the Manhattan to the espresso martini by a tiny bit. Food-wise get the truffle tater tots. They are an excellent salty starchy snack to go with cocktails. The ambience is timeless and inviting, with staff that take care of you without bothering you. Had a late lunch here and it was scrumptious. You can tell from the first bite that the oil they use is clean. The smash burger I had was not even too oily compared to the other ones I had in the Staten Island area. I recommend sitting down and eating here because having it hot/fresh vs bringing it home or delivery, there is a big difference in taste!

Decided to stop by with some coworkers for happy hour. The bartenders and rest of the staff are friendly, and the cocktails are really good. Found this place from a book called Drink Like a Local, and if I didn't there is no way I would have found it. Located on a block with a ton of places to eat it is up a flight of stairs behind an umarked door. Walk in and you are greated warmly by the hostest. Sat at the bar, ordered the grilled cheese and a Gin cocktail. Bartender was very helpful with the drink selection and the grilled cheese spot on. Defitantly would recommend and look to go back.
