My partner and I walked 20 minutes to get here to satisfy an ice cream craving. It was already a beautiful day as this was the day (11/14) that we got engaged in and Nikki was the cherry on top, an amazing visit to end the day. She was so kind to us and reassured us when we felt we were getting too many samples. The world needs more Nikkis!! This woman deserves a raise! Oh and the ice cream was amazing as well!!

Getting the gelato shaped like a flower is a really nice touch and makes for a super cute dessert. Honestly though, the gelato itself was just way too sweet for my taste. It isn't bad by any means, but I definitely prefer Venchi over this place when I want really good gelato. Amorino is fun to try once for the aesthetic, but Venchi just tastes better overall.

We had a wonderful time at Van Leeuwen! My daughter got the 'Vegan Planet Earth' from their Spring Specials on a waffle cone, and she absolutely loved it. The blue and green colors are so fun and vibrant, looking exactly like a little globe. The shop was clean and the staff was very welcoming. A perfect spot for a sweet family treat!

Very disappointed with my recent visit. I brought my family for Carvel’s Wednesday BOGO sundae deal, but was charged full price for a third sundae and one served in a cone. The staff member, James, claimed the cone wasn’t included—though this was not mentioned anywhere in-store or online. When I offered to pay for the cone separately and have the ice cream moved to a cup, he refused, citing a “policy” that wasn’t posted or explained. I love the yogurt flavors and toppings here! But it can get pricey very quickly. I suggest trying 2 or 3 small swirls and 2-3 half-scoops of toppings. Thats it--otherwise it all melts together by the time you eat half way thru AND its over $15 in a cup! My son over did his, with candy 🍬 🤣 and our two yogurts in "small cups" were $26! Note: I think there is a $12 min. On credit cards.

Found this little dessert shop whilst walking post-dinner at a nearby restaurant. They had pretty decent number of flavors on the menu. I tried the Pistachio in a waffle cone which was creamy & delicious. My cuz tried the Chocolate sundae which was pretty good too. They are located in the midst of many restaurants so can definitely be a prime spot to grab ice-cream after dinner. Must visit. Vegan options available! Service is quick athough no area to sit down.

I recently visited Häagen-Dazs, and it was absolutely the spot for a sweet treat. The atmosphere was inviting, and the quality of the ice cream was top-notch. Even though I didn’t note a specific favorite flavor this time, every scoop tasted rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I would give Häagen-Dazs a solid 5 stars for delivering a consistently delicious and satisfying experience.

Totally worth waiting in line for! They have a solid selection of delicious, high-quality froyo flavors, and being able to swirl and mix different ones in a cup is the best part. I got chocolate, raspberry and vanilla. Their signature tart is nice tho! The topping options are incredibly variable and fun. It's a bit of a wait during peak hours, but it completely hits the spot. Mine was 8.8 oz in total!

We stopped in to this Pinkberry location recently to get a sweet on a nice afternoon. Long entrance back to the ordering area. Seating up front in the window and the middle area. Nice selection of frozen yogurts to choose from and we selected pomegranate. We just got a small cup as we were not sure what it would taste like. Now we know- it was delicious. This parkslope location is spacious, clean, and bright with friendly staff. Came here late at night. They are open until 1am. There is a variety of ice-cream flavors to choose from. There's a variety of vegan ice cream to choose from as well. Little pricey, but the ice cream tastes good and is rich in flavor.

Carvel in Floral Park 164 st Hillside Ave Belrose NY has many selections of Ice Cream's Shakes, Cakes. My favorite Carel's is in Metropolitan Avenue right off Forest Ave Love the Ice Cream Cakes, Shakes Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry Shakes are so smooth and thick. Ice cream saucers are so good. Cakes have many to choose from.

We love this place! I enjoy the various flavors available that continuously change. The permanent flavors are great too! Never too much of a wait, and be sure to try flavors that seem interesting. My wife is vegan/gluten free mostly, and had plenty of options so I’d say vegan friendly for sure. We usually bring a cooler bag and ice packs and walk down to a park or to our apt to eat. Ice cream is top notch, definitely worth a visit!

We walked in on a blustery afternoon pre-theatre just by chance. This tiny village café has the most flavorful gelato we've ever had, and delicious coffee too! 36 flavors, about half of them vegan, and the owners encourage you to mix and match! We had the Banana Bread combined with the Dark Night, a vegan dark chocolate that was sumptuously thick and rich. If you find yourself in the area of Beeckman and Christopher in the Village, we highly recommend stopping in here!

Honestly disappointed. I ordered two Nutella soft serves for the Wednesday BOGO promotion 02/25/2026. The cashier wouldn’t offer the deal, stating “it’s not a sundae”. But the door sticker literally says in small letters ‘soft serve only’. Please educate your staff on what the Carvel promotions are. You don’t have to get the whip cream, extra topping, and cherry on top for it to qualify. I’ve been to other Carvel locations and never had this issue before.

Stopped her for a quick ice cream on our walk back from the park. It’s a great shop with both hand dipped and soft serve and all the classic toppings. I got a vanilla cone with sprinkles and I love how they fully dip the cone in them. I am giving this place a four simply because it’s nothing special. It’s great though - try it out

Will never buy coldstone again. Went in for the Lucky Charms ice cream but first wanted to try a sample. One of the team members, I didnt catch her name but she was a young Asian/Pacific Islander girl gave me the smallest sample possible and had an off-putting attitude throughout the entire transaction. I went for the first time. The employee Santos & Daniel. We’re so kind and patient! The ice cream flavors are great. A bit overpriced, but u would be back just for the great customer service. It was filled with kids afterwards. The customer service was exceptional. I even heard the kids tell the employees,”you’re the best employees”. Will be back!

Staffed by teenagers who don't care to keep the place clean at all. It's filthy every. single. time. Floors are sticky and dirty, tables rarely cleaned, chairs are all dirty. Sometimes it smells like sewer too. But my kids are barbarians so they insist on getting ice cream here.

Delicious place - I love places where the only bad review is a gripe on the price or amount. Price was fine, we got more scoops it was more than enough and definitely took 30+ bites to eat. Not sure how the hoarse from another review finished in 9 bites but human bites definitely take way more than that. lol . We took my mother here on Mother's Day and Iyash was very attentive to her. They were almost out of what she ordered; however, Iyash made it happen with the last of that particular topping. Visit was delicious and made better by the good service.

A cute & quaint spot for gelato in the West Village. All of the flavors are fresh and made in small batches. Unfortunately, however, I don’t think the quality of the gelato itself is up to that of other places in the city. Still an enjoyable spot to check out though.

This frozen yogurt place has been open for years, even before the frozen yogurt craze began. Extremely clean and hygienic inside and open late too. Nice flavors as well. I particularly like being able to put my own toppings on. There is seating inside for you to sit and enjoy your dessert.

I bought an ice cream cake for a birthday party and am very disappointed with the result. The cake seemed very small for the box it came in and it looked flat compared to Carvel cakes available in the local grocery store. When we cut into the cake inside was a thin layer of vanilla ice cream, a thick layer of crunchies, and a very thin layer of chocolate ice cream as a base layer.
