I would never order from the place ever again. I watched the male cook drop a shrimp on the floor and ask his wife to open the fridge door to cover him as he picked up the shrimp and put it in the plate instead of just throwing it away. Never again. Nasty people and im making a complaint with the department of health

The food was HORRIBLE.. I ordered Ackee & salt fish with food..1st problem the Ackee was mushy , and tasteless there was about 3 fork full of tasteless overcooked salt fish I know the Ackee is suppose to take on the flavor of the salt fish. There was no flavor. The banana was mushy. If you don’t have no teeth then get this order, I went back and I told them and she’s going to tell me because I pressed down with the fork that’s why it was mushy .i must look like boo boo the fool to her, . Good food, but the service has declined since the owner's son took over the front counter. Checkyour bill overcharging is an issue. Packaging is careless, especially with saucy dishes that spill by the time you get home. His attitude is also unpleasant. They should bring back the woman who used to handle orders; she did a much better job.

So I dropped in this place and requested a roots drink and a seafood soup. 🤔 I assume the soup was good..I couldn't tell for sure...because I ate it too quickly!!! I highly recommend!!!

Stopped by Dyre Ave Diner to kill some time before an appointment. Typical diner/hole-in-the-wall vibes. Ordered a short stack, sausage patties, and coffee since the reviews said the pancakes were really good. Glad I listened because the pancakes were absolutely amazing and the sausages were just the right amount of burnt to them, literally *chef’s kiss*. Also, everything was under $14. Honestly, I’m glad I stumbled across this diner!

I had my birthday party at triple deuce and what a great experience myself and guess had I had 30 people at my party and we have not one bad experience. Cy the manager went above and beyond for us also Nyoka . I recommend 💯 for any event you want to celebrate. Food amazing,drinks out of this world service great . Amazing service and not to forget the DJ he had a great mix of music. 100% recommend.

The morning cashier is very pleasant, but can be slow, which is not acceptable when customers are in a rush to catch the train or bus. I love their liver and corn meal porridge. However, I will not buy their porridge again though. On two occasions the porridge was filled with clumps of cornmeal. It was inedible and I had to throw it away and purchase something else for breakfast. I tried calling the store to make them aware, but no one answers the phone.
