Very good food and excellent service. Fried lotus root and gobi Manchurian were excellent! Paneer with haka chili sauce was also very good. Not a fan of their papaya salad (I think they put curry powder / turmeric - that killed the taste) or the soya chaap ( too soft, I thought, and not very flavorful). Overall very nice.

This was some place! My friend actually recommended coming here so I agreed. At first I was skeptical because it was a pretty far commute for us. About 30 minutes on the highway which was at night where supposedly there is no traffic. Secondly, the place this sits in is a pretty secluded part of town where a couple of other places like a dispensary and a Buffalo Wild Wings also share the space. It sits conveniently in front of a bus stop and right next door to a mini mall with private parking. S

Had an amazing meal at Sunshine Restaurant today and honestly, everything we tried was just spot on 👌 We ordered aalu paratha, gobhi paratha, poori chana, chicken kadai, and lassi — and every single item tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The parathas were perfectly cooked, soft inside with just the right crisp outside. Poori chana was comforting and full of authentic taste, just like homemade. The chicken kadai had a rich, well-balanced gravy with great spices — not too heavy, just

Best Indian restaurant I have been to in the NYC area. We had fish in banana leaf, onion curry, sambar, avial, and parotta bread. The amount of flavor in every bite was incredible. Everyone was so kind explaining the kerala style dishes. Will definitely come back soon to try more dishes!

It is absolutely incomprehensible how this place stays in business and why it's always busy. I mean maybe because there's nothing else relatively close by? Their prices are ridiculous. Glen Oaks is not a ritzy area. I order breakfast in Manhattan on a daily basis, and it is cheaper than this place. I mean a bagel with two egg whites, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and a hot tomato sauce = $7.00 ?!?!? In Manhattan I get the same thing with bacon and cheese for the same $7.00 ! The food here is very good and flavorful, everything is fresh and ready so you can get in and out if you're on your lunch break. My only complaint is I don't feel full on one scoop of meat, but I also don't want to pay $20 on lunch after adding the guac with 2 scoops of meat. On a side note I ordered online once, I got the surf and turf performance bowl and I added a scoop of chicken. So I should have had shrimp, steak and chicken in the bowl, I only received chicken. I emailed them back from t

This place truly captures the soul of Kolkata street food. The kochuri with ghugni was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with authentic flavors that instantly reminded me of home. The kathi roll was equally amazing, with well-spiced filling and that classic Kolkata-style wrap done just right. We also tried vegetable chop, fish fry, fulcopir singara and everything was delicious. And to finish it off, the rosogolla was soft, fresh, and melt-in-the-mout

Shirazi Karahi in Glen Oaks is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. For appetizers we ordered Lahori fish Pakora and requested not to put too much salt but they didn’t, fish pakora was super salty . The chicken Tikka & Kufta sizzling kabobs was super tasty. Kabobs comes with rice was ok..I like their butter naan and fries. Overall all foods are flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The naan came out fresh and hot. Great portions and very fair prices. We’ll definitely be back

Atul Bakery is one of those places I saw on Google Maps and didn't think much of. The menu prices put me off right away. Eight, nine dollars for items you could make at home or eat in India for a fraction of the cost feels steep. Without knowing the portion size going in, the price point is questionable at best. We tried the veggie pizza and the masala puff. The masala puff uses the same potato and seasoning base they seem to run across the whole menu. The flavor was fine, but the size was smal

The place is very well organized with many healthy options, you can built your self your own bowls and sandwiches with variety of selections I got a acai granola bowl for breakfast but definitely will go back again for lunch 😋
