Glad to see Uzbekistani cuisine on Ave I. The restaurant has a surprisingly large dining area with private rooms available, which is a nice touch. The food was good overall. Amazing Uzbek halal restaurant in Brooklyn! This beautiful, elegant setting features quick and friendly service, Uzbek music, and incredibly delicious food. We had the Afsona salad, Dumpling soup, beef Samsa, Manti, Plov combo, beef Lula, beef and chicken kebabs and lamb chops. Everything was amazing, delicious and wonderful. I love this place! It’s very cozy. The staff are super polite, and if you come often, they even try to remember your name. I love the food and coffee and come here every other day. It’s one of my favorite coffee shops. On warm days, there’s a terrace outside. It’s kid-friendly and laptop-friendly (except on weekends).

I had a good experience here picking up pizza for a couple of times during a trip. Pizza was fresh and hot. Ingredients were also fresh. Unfortunately they don’t have no seating area here so it’s only for pick up or delivery, so that’s a 4 star experience for me.

This place was INSANE!!!! The food was top top top top top notch. We ordered the Plov and each of the skewers. The chicken and the ribs skewers in particular were amazing. I live nearby and have ordered the make-your-own salads several times. They are usually excellent, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I have passed this place so many times throughout the years and I finally stopped in for a quick sushi dinner. This place is small, but lovely. Great experience at Jaew Thai Cuisine! They have an amazing vegetarian menu with tofu options. We started with the veg spring rolls and calamari, which were crispy and light. Then, we had the fresh watermelon juice and tried some delicious veggie main dishes with tofu. The food is excellent and the bistro is very bright and clean. Highly recommend for vegetarians!

This is a cash-only, take-out and ever since they ended dine-in service, the former dining room is dim-lit and empty, giving entrance the charm of a warehouse loading dock. However, there is a good reason why this rather plain looking take-out restaurant is still here after so many years. The al pastor had the best taste, but it was smaller than the rest. The chicken and steak were good, but I got a few chunks of fat in each, which was a bit of a turn-off.
