Casual Italian restaurant serving fresh pasta, pizza, wine & cocktails.
My partner and I went here for a Saturday morning brunch as a way to start the day. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate decor with pretty great and attentive service. It can be a bit loud and cramped due to the layout but you do sit pretty close to other patrons. My partner and myself ordered the Rise and Shine breakfast platter, though I got mine with egg whites instead of whole eggs. The food tasted pretty clean but forgettable in flavor with pretty substantially small portion sizes. I had

12/24/25 Great place to try for some zabihah pastrami! The fries were nice and crunchy. Ask for extra spice if you like it spicey. Rye bread was toasted on point to create the satisfying crunch factor. I would recommend to minimize moisture oil if getting the brisket burger to actually enjoy it as it is already pretty greasy. Overall good experience along with the Yemeni tea in the end. Props for having cheddar cheese. Please consider lower to no sodium options as well for better health.

Busy cafe on a weekend morning. Good set of breakfast options and all baked fresh on the premises. Lots of seating inside and a great option if you need to do some work, people watch or catch up with a friend.

A memorable Mother's Day dinner! Let me start by saying YES, THE WAIT WAS LONG! I made a 5:30 reservation and ate dinner by 7:30, however the woman host gave us an honest heads up when we were seated, and shared that since the owner went viral literally 3 days ago, she's been overwhelmed with crowds of people overnight that she's working to accommodate! Online reservations didn't send notifications to their team due to high volume, and staff were absent due to the holiday leaving her shorthanded

Rustic-chic bar offering elevated burgers & sandwiches, plus whiskey flights & rotating craft beers.
Long life to this bar, its attentive staff and the amazing variety of beers they have on tap. My kingdom for their Wrench IPA, specially when it’s happy hour time ($5 for a big glass, on a Wednesday between 4pm and 7pm). The food looked very good too, although I did not try it.

It was my first time here since it’s close by and I’ve always wanted to try their pizza. They have a nice variety, which I really liked. I’ll be honest, it is a bit pricey for the slices of pizza, but the owner explained that it’s because of the quality ingredients they use. He was also kind enough to give me a free soda with my order, which I appreciated. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my favorite, the margherita pizza, and both were delicious. The space is a good size with indoor seating av

Compact Caribbean bakery & cafe supplying breads & pastries as well as jerk chicken & oxtails.
We love the beef and callalloo patties but the whole place smells soo good! And the folks who run it /tend the counter are so kind. Highly recommend.

Excellent little neighborhood hang. Cheap beer, good cocktails, nice bartender, not packed out to the point where its not fun on weeknights, a tad crowded on weekends but in a good way! Love it. Oh and there's a tree in there.

This place is great! I went with a friend and shared the veggie focaccia sandwich, and pistachio cornetto. We individually had a dirty chai with oat milk that came recommended, and really grew on me; and a cortado (also w/ oat milk). The ambience was warm and inviting, the cafe was stylish and clean. My only issue would be the size of the establishment, as it’s a bit cramped, but otherwise perfect—loved this cafe, and will be back!

No-frills take-out/delivery fried chicken joint, part of a chain known for using halal poultry.
Dirty, small portion. Waited 10 mins for reheated dry food. Despicable. Over priced. Wont be back. None of their food is fresh. Dont eat here . You will get food poisioning. Guy will grab money then grab your food.

This rice is so bland and horrible it’s like it was seasoned with water, no salt pepper nothing. It tastes so bland, even my grandma says it’s horrible and she eats everything. Do not get into the buy one get one on uber eats, it’s a waste of money smh. This shrimp fried rice is the worst, I drowned it in duck sauce and still no taste, it is not even fried !!! Don’t waste your money.

This placed looked nice and the night we picked was a Friday. The music was pumping! A great selection was in rotation by the DJ. I really wanted to hit happy hour but we got in very late. The atmosphere is very nice and had a very eclectic crowd. The bar was filled. We ordered a few drinks! Which was just OK! Also grabbed some food that was also just OK! The music and friendly staff made up for it all! It had a lounge type of vibe to me. I will return though to try the happy hour and Pizza!

Look, if you order this for delivery through DoorDash or whomever, it’s going to show up cold or a mess. It’s not on Hamza. I love this place. Dine in. Get fries with your chicken on rice. And chill. Staff are kind. Food is a great value for money. It is what it says it is and what it is is good. The sauces are flavorful, the rice is cooked well and has the right amount of spices. Halal cart style but you can eat fresh off the grill inside.

I happen to be in the area and a local restaurant owner told me to stop by here. They’re a black owned bakery in Brooklyn. The shop is small but decked out in pink decor with their cakes on the wall. This definitely looks like a spot that you would get your cakes from. I got the caramel apple cookie and strawberry cupcake. The cupcake is pretty big. They even garnish it with a real strawberry on top. The frosting was more on the solid side but had a smooth texture. Pairing well with the cake

Super cute coffee shop by Flatbush Ave. Plenty of space to sit comfortably, a couch (😍), and games. Outlets for working. Lovely artwork. Solid coffee and pastry choices. They allow dogs in and have dog treats! Kind owner too. ☺️ Highly recommend checking out

Stopped in here for a quick lunch and I had a great experience! Garlic parmesan fries which were great! Mushroom Panini was fresh and loaded with cheese (per special request) Ricotta toast was also nice The peanut butter milkshake was out of this world!! Overall I had a really great time here and would return. The food took a little bit longer than expected.

I always stop at this Guyanese restaurant in Brooklyn if I can when I'm there. This time I had a delicious, freshly made salara and some fried fish with okra cook-up rice. There food always tastes like I'm eating from my Guyanese mom so I ate it all. The only disappointment is that they didn't have roti so call ahead and check if thst is what you'd be interested in.

The rice and Pease is the best thing in my opinion it's almost the best thing on the menu at Good hope. 2nd is the BBQ chicken my main choice and then fried chicken 3rd. BEWARE some the other food can be spicy like the curry goat. My.family is Jamaican so no hate just being honest. But cook should let people add their own pepper because not everyone like there food to be EXTRA peppery. The customer Service Suck . They workers scream out NEXT NEXT like you can skip the line😵💫 You ask for s

Got hungry while visiting a friend in Brooklyn, so looked around for something to eat. I'm from California, so tacos > pizza any day of the week. I'll admit I was skeptical, as I've heard that Californians are likely to be disappointed by Mexican food in NY, but this place was good! I ordered the 3 birria tacos, which came with a small cup of the gravy/soup. The meat in the tacos was excellent. The tacos were bigger and heartier than I had expected, with a good deal of cheese at the bottom. They
