Great neighborhood bar and grill with an awesome local draft beer selection. A rare combo in the area. The double Seneca smash burger was almost too much and the bacon was outstanding. Thick and crispy but not chewy. The fries were too good. Normally I ask for extra crispy. This time I forgot and they still came out PERFECT! Great service with a pool table, lots of seating, and a little backyard. Will definitely be back.

I was in Ridgewood for a wake and having come directly from work was looking for someplace local to eat. Someone recommended Goettscheer Hall and my first reaction was surprise. I had a great experience at La Chilangas! The tortas were absolutely delicious. They were perfectly packed with flavor and made fresh. The barista who I think is the manager is consistently unfriendly, it's been a few times now where I walk in and she's doing other things and doesn't acknowledge the customer, bc I've seen it toward another patron who came in before me as well, he was waiting at the counter for 5 minutes while she just did other things without saying hi or hold on a sec. Good quality for a good price. Only $8 and change for a regular slice and this stuffed spinach sandwich which was super filling. It was maybe equal to 2.5 spinach slices! Everything was delicious. This place is a hidden gem, truly! I came here recently with two friends to get some casual but tasty Italian food. I got a slice of pizza and they got pastas. All the food was delicious, high quality (especially for the price), and the pasta dishes even come with a free glass of wine (red or white) if you dine in. Bread for the table is also included. I know all the wendys locations are owned by different people but the food quality and size should be the same. Wendys has been advertising the new improved spicy chicken sandwich so much. I tried it at a different location and was so pleasantly surprised so I got it again here cause its closer too me but its not the same. They are still using the old bun that is sweat and mushy, and the old style lettuce as opposed to the new one they've used at other locations. Terrible bread , chicken itself

Had a fabulous first time at Il Gigante. Sat at the bar - shout out to Matthew and Kayla for taking such good care of us. Great ambience, not too loud, but still a fun atmosphere. Hands down some of the best pizza I’ve had in NYC. The crust is perfectly crisp, the sauce has amazing flavor, and the cheese is top quality—it all comes together in every bite. Incredible spot for our first night in town from Boston! Shout out my girl Victoria for reserving us the table, and to the whole staff for being lovely and kind and treating us like family. I ordered the "Classic" banana strawberry, Nutella. Great flavor and texture on the crepe, however, far too much fruit and not enough Nutella. If you love banana, this is great! They use a whole banana in the crepe, when really, you only need half. Plus a hefty portion of strawberries as well. Honestly disappointed. I ordered two Nutella soft serves for the Wednesday BOGO promotion 02/25/2026. The cashier wouldn’t offer the deal, stating “it’s not a sundae”. But the door sticker literally says in small letters ‘soft serve only’. Please educate your staff on what the Carvel promotions are. You don’t have to get the whip cream, extra topping, and cherry on top for it to qualify. I’ve been to other Carvel locations and never had this issue before.

Nice neighborhood coffee spot with a friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. The coffee was really good and exactly what you want from a solid local café. It has that typical coffee shop atmosphere where most tables are filled with people working on their laptops, which makes it feel lively but still relaxed. The food is great but the delivery guy is so fricking rude!!! I ordered through Uber Eats and I tip after the delivery is made. When the driver got to my door he started asking me rudely why is there no tip on the app, why no tip for him, basically demanding for a tip. I did not have cash so I couldn’t tip him in person and I wasn’t going to after the way he was so rude to me. This is not how you speak to costumers, great food but never ordering again.

This frozen yogurt place has been open for years, even before the frozen yogurt craze began. Extremely clean and hygienic inside and open late too. Nice flavors as well. I particularly like being able to put my own toppings on. There is seating inside for you to sit and enjoy your dessert.

Great place for fun and live music. Music downstairs. Bar is upstairs. Upstairs on the big screen they had a Mel Brooks marathon with captions so you could enjoy the movies while listening to a killer punk playlist that the bartenders compile.
