We had a wonderful evening at Rocco's, a charming neighborhood Italian restaurant run by the sweetest young couple, Vinny and Joanne. They're the ultimate hosts -- warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely people. The food was fantastic from start to finish. What an amazing place to grab a quick bite. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was friendly and quick. The set up is buffet style prepared food and you pick and choose what you want to eat. The tables are clean and it was not crowded during lunch hour, as mostly people came in and bought food to go. I never really leave reviews but felt obligated to. I enjoyed dinner there last night with my friend and the sushi is so good. I have eaten here many times and have never had an issue. I did however order tofu teriyaki which was fantastic….until I found a bug in my broccoli the next day….now you can say I planted it and I’m looking for some sort of compensation. No, I just want people to be aware because that is a HUGE no no for me and I would want someone to share this experience as well.

I tried their pizza which was really good, but I highly recommend their pasta—it’s delicious and definitely worth ordering. We’ve been here three times and it’s been great every time! The homemade mozzarella sticks and sauce are real good as are the burgers and crinkle cut fries. Amazing post beach or mid beach meal. PS working pinball machines inside. Highly recommend.

Their chicken cutlets are amazing the mararoni salad is great too but there is no sweetness in it, i know some people like it sweet i just enjoy one that has a crunch from the vegetables

This is coming from a pure blooded Latino that just moved to this area a year ago. These have to be the most BANGIN burritos I’ve had in a long long time. This hotel is the most quaint place to be!! It feels like home!! I would highly recommend anyone staying in the area (or even if your plans take you into the city, it’s a short ferry ride) to stay here. What a great, clean, quiet place. Loved it!!! Excellent service!!

Horrible staff, owner and service. I went in there to get three coconut bowls for my daughter’s birthday while no one was in there. When I walked in, there were three people behind the counter that quickly turned into one who didn’t even acknowledge me. Then he finally takes my order and shortly after a whole bunch of girls in bikinis about 20 of them coming from the beach order after me. We visited Carvel, America’s Freshest Ice Cream in Rockaway, and had a great experience. The ice cream was really delicious and fresh, exactly what you’d hope for. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Overall, a simple but very enjoyable stop—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Just moved to the area & I’ve ate from Annys about 3 times so far. Always SO GOOD! I just ordered the fried tilapia fish. Comes with rice , beans, salad ..the works! The rice was soft, fish was crispy and fresh!, loved it so much. If you’re in the area & are looking for something hearty & delicious, you must try anything on their menu. The mini Margherita pizza used to be so good and full of sauce. Now it’s dry and stale and tastes like a cheesy piece of cardboard. I don’t know who’s making the pizza these days but please start learning or something.

We went to see the band The Other 3 + 1. (Great band BTW) I had the Rhythm Sampler - Wings, Fish Cakes and Shrimp. My GF ordered a salad and Jerk wings. Everything was delish! Be warned - the shrimp are served with heads on. Some have a problem with that. Not me. Service was very considerate. Checking that everything was OK and getting anything we asked. The atmosphere is pleasant and music was great as usual.
