We ordered ghee podi masala dosa, chicken dum biryani and masala chai. The dosa was massive, crispy, flavored with ghee and podi, stuffed with perfectly seasoned potato filling. Served with 3 chutneys and Sambar. It was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating. The best dosa I have had till date in nyc. A decent Hawaiian BBQ spot with a few of the standard items done well. I got the teriyaki chicken which was solid - I thought the rice, which was an upgrade to spam and egg, was underwhelming, but the macaroni salad was quite good. The presentation is good and overall the food is pretty good too - I wish they had Katsu on the menu, and I guess they’ve made room for poke options which is different. Overall, a good experience, would consider coming back if I’m around dumbo again!

This place was cool. I happened upon it after work. It has a large menu and lots of affordable combos. I got the oxtail chopped cheese a side of yams and chicken wings. The oxtail chopped cheese was the star of the show and it tasted even better when I reheated the second half. I will be back if I am in the neighborhood. This restaurant Al’s offered brunch all day with waffles or grits.
