Low-key cafe serving vegan, kosher & gluten-free dishes with Latin accents.
VSpot is truly a vegan treasure, especially since they’ve been open for 20 years. It’s my first time. They also changed to weekends only due to financial struggles. However, it doesn’t take away from the hospitality and the food. I highly recommend stopping by. Also, if Elle is your server, she is THE BEST!

I came here and ended up having one of the best bowls of sujebi l've ever had, the broth alone deserves its own review. Rich, comforting, and incredibly clean-tasting without being heavy. The bossam was also a delicious. It was tender, flavorful, and perfect with the sauces and banchan, which were all fresh and well balanced. We also tried the octopus and pork with rice, which was super satisfying and packed with flavor. Honestly, everything we ordered worked really well together, but the sujebi

Cafe with healthy emphasis on organic New American fare plus vegetarian choices & a full bar.
Food and Juice is always a great place. I study at Columbia University and often come here for lunch during my break. I’ve even brought my husband here, and he loved it too. The food is consistently delicious, and the avocado toasts are absolutely amazing — definitely one of my favorites. Overall, it’s a reliable spot with great quality, and I keep coming back.

Upstairs Japanese yakitori spot transporting diners to Tokyo via grilled skewers & a bustling scene.
I'm so happy to have come back and found the food and atmosphere is just as good as I remembered. Agedashi tofu is still one of my faves. We got lots of skewers and left super happy with the authentic Japanese goal grills. It takes a bit of time, but it's got the perfect smokey taste. Definitely make a reservation, but if you get there early on a weekday, you'll have some bar space for 1-2 people.

No place to dine but good lord the food is so good. Try the fish platter with mango habanero and blazing sauce. Carrot cake to die for.

Cash-only Japanese noodle shop dishing up a wide selection of hot and cold soba in a cozy space.
I went to this Ramen place and was blown away. The star of the show was definitely the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth was incredibly rich and tangy—exactly what I was craving. The noodles were cooked to absolute perfection. I’d give the ramen itself a 100/10; it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the sides didn't quite hit the same mark. I ordered the gyoza, and while they were fine, they fell apart a little too easily, which was a bummer. There wasn’t a unique or standout taste to the

Low-key Peruvian restaurant dishing up classics (including ceviche) for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Spent almost 30 minutes researching the best Peruvian spot around and kept seeing this place recommended all over Reddit, really glad I came. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was amazing. Very generous portion, the beef was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had incredible flavor. You can tell they really know what they’re doing here. Definitely coming back.

Super cute interior and comfortable seating area upstairs. Staff is friendly as well. Drinks are not bad either. Their tea is fragrant and they have oat milk options which is awesome. Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept.

Kid-friendly spot providing hands-on kitty play time & cat adoptions, plus coffee, tea & snacks.
I had such an enjoyable time at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain all about the cats and their different “spice levels,” which made it easy for us to know how to approach and interact with each one. Their guidance really helped us feel comfortable navigating around the space and getting to know the cats. Every cat we met was absolutely lovely and full of personality, making the whole experience relaxing and heartwarming. It’s also a

Stopped by North Shore Diner in Queens and had a great breakfast experience. I ordered 2 eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, and coffee. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked just right. My son had pancakes with bacon and eggs, and he really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the portions were good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a great spot for breakfast if you're in Queens! 😋☕️

Chill bakery/eatery doling out Colombian cakes & baked goods, plus breakfast, meat plates & seafood.
The owner was nice. I had arepas for the first time. For the experience I had , it was pretty nice. It was tasty and had a nice mozzarella center. The empanadas could be better. It was edible though. It had nice savory taste. It was little under dry and I wish they had some more vegetables with the chicken filling.

Small cafe dishing out creative American comfort food to locals in a laid-back setting.
I’ve been here a number of times and overall I’ve had a good experience. One thing I appreciate is that I never have a hard time finding parking, which is a huge plus in Brooklyn. The food is consistently good. My go to order is the whiting with the red velvet waffles..they’re definitely worth trying. The prices are pretty standard for what you’d expect. My biggest complaints are the hours and the ordering process. They close pretty early, which can be frustrating, and I wish they accepted pho

They aren't trying to be "Instagram famous"—they’re just focused on bringing that nostalgic, grandparent-style pizza to the people. We ordered the double dough with Italian sausage and mushrooms, and absolutely loved it. Even after cooling down, the crust didn't get tough at all; it stayed perfectly doughy with a great, chewy texture. Also, do yourself a favor and don't forget to order the fluffy cinnamon sticks!

Long-running Greek taverna known for fresh grilled fish served in spacious quarters with a garden.
Telly’s taverna, let me tell what I honestly think about my dining experience : I think that their prices are extremely high for the quality and the quantity they offer their customers. No side orders with their main dish , $30 for 4 pieces of fried whiting and an extra $6 for the side order. The bread was stale and the fish was over cooked , the shrimp was swimming in an insipid tomato sauce , the 3 pale lemon potatoes tasted anything but lemon, and the fried calamari came without the old good
