Lovely restaurant, lovely atmosphere and lovely prices! I stayed at the Holiday Inn, next door, for a week and had my breakfast here every morning! I definitely had many happy hours here being served by Neela! A great highlight of my stay in New York!
Wow. What an Incredible and authentic experience. From start to finish. Every dish is prepared with incredible attention to detail. The Flavors are as broad and magnificent as the Gentle Giants the Restaurant is named after. Upbeat Hindi percussion and ruby and gold lighting only add to the authenticity with a modern flair. They accommodated my husband's shellfish allergy as well as my preference for spice. Well done. Definitely do it again soon
This place is a hidden gem! It’s a wonderful mother-and-son-run business, and you can really feel the love they put into everything. The food is truly homemade and tastes exactly like a traditional Indian kitchen-authentic, flavorful, and fresh. It doesn’t feel like a typical commercial restaurant; it feels like being invited into someone's home. If you want real, traditional Indian food, this is the place to go!
