Their sandwiches are good. I get the fresh made ones versus the premade. It’s $13-$14 which is appreciated compared to more expensive options downtown. I would not recommend the soup. I got lobster crab bisque, but it didn’t have any lobster or crab. I previously had the crab corn chowder and there wasn’t much crab meat. And it’s $7 for a small soup. I would stick to the veggie options.
My twin sister and I discovered Ashby’s while we were in New York for a two-week summer program, and it quickly became our go-to spot. This place has great sandwiches and so many soup options! The cookies are delicious and come free with the sandwich. Friendly service. My new go-to neighborhood spot. I did remove one star for food because although it’s really good, with many bread options, the bread wasn’t as fresh as it could have been.
