Just checked out Dong Bei Restaurant & Bar and honestly, this place feels like a hidden gem already. The food is truly Northern Chinese super authentic, rich, and comforting. It literally tastes like a home-cooked meal. You can tell it’s a new spot, but they’re already getting a lot of love, pretty busy when I went. We absolutely LOVE this place. During the first two weeks of opening, we went there three times. I was born and raised in Dongbei, and it was hard to find a decent place with authentic Dongbei food in the city. Yet this restaurant does a really good job on the signature dishes. We tried to order different dishes everytime we went so we could taste more food. Looking forward to summer time and hope they have summer specials too (skewers, cold noodles, etc.) The price is great for its portion. Th
We’re super excited to have this new Chinese restaurant in Fidi as there needs to be more comfort home cooking type of restaurants in the neighborhood! They told us you can byob so that’s a plus too! Food was delicious!
