Just spent 4th of July weekend there. Great location, nice size room... Flooring is old and in need of replacement... Bathroom tiles old and stained, sink cabinet in bad shape, towel rack fell off the wall. Great AC, breakfast for $19 was nice, small kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge. Sofa could be more comfortable. 1 block from the East River and all the piers. Walking distance to Wall St, 9/11 memorial, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Affordable!! I've stayed at nicer hotel
We traveled as a family (a couple and a baby) and had a very good experience. The hotel is very well located in a quiet area of the financial district, close to the metro, ferry, and supermarkets, which made getting around very convenient. The building is beautiful, with a lot of charm as it is an older property. The breakfast was very complete, with good coffee and a wide variety of food. The most spacious room I have ever stayed in. Great location for sure. Staff are friendly. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but it doesn’t matter if you are here to enjoy the city!
