My wife and I were visiting family in New York City last week, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was going to Luke's on Friday night. We'd heard that lobster rolls are a must try in NYC, and Luke’s did not disappoint. The food quality was phenomenal, the rolls were buttered perfectly and their clam chowder was a perfect mix of creamy and chunky. First time here and won’t be our last! My wife loves sea food and I went and surprised her with a quick stop at this trending but also a chain that’s been around for a while doing delicious seafood dishes aka lobster ones! My youngest and my wife tried the trio to get a feel for what’s available and were recommended to start with that if it was their first time there. Came back here for the first time in years, the prices have been raised substantially and they no longer have their famous lobster mac n' cheese! However, the rolls were still very good and the two young men working were friendly and efficient. Might come back for a special treat sometime (or if they decide to bring back their mac n cheese).
