Small spot drawing big crowds for smoked meat sandwiches & other Montreal-style Jewish deli staples.

Mile End Deli was a really nice experience overall. The space is cozy and has a great vibe, and our waiter was super friendly and attentive which made the visit even better. The portions are definitely generous, and I personally really enjoyed the schnitzel sandwich, it was satisfying. He felt like it didn’t quite capture that authentic “back home” flavor he’s used to, which was a bit disappoin
I had high hopes for this place. After trying Schwartz’s in Montreal and Katz’s in New York, I didn’t expect to be served supermarket-style pastrami. Mile End in Brooklyn has been on my list of places to check out for a long time, and it did not disappoint at all! I got a couple of sandwiches to go, but the inside looks like a family-run, hospitable, and cozy diner... exactly what you want! Love the Canadian soul too! I followed Ali's recommendation and tried the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich (their special), and I also got the one with chicken liver. Both super Yummy! Will come back to dine in 10/10 See you soon :)
