High-end East Village sushi restaurant where ingredients are flown in daily from Japan.
From Google Maps reviews.
It was my first time going here. I've always wanted to try omakase, too. The place is comfortably small and quaint. The service is very friendly and attentive. The sushi quality is superb! The flavoring is quite tasty, too, although I do prefer more unadulterated pure sashimi fish pieces to speak for their own natural flavor. I'd still go back for their superb sashimi quality. Only negative is that I wish the chef spoke better English or even Japanese. I had trouble understanding what each omaka
My favorite Omakase! Great location in East Village and the team is simply wonderful from Daniella and Veera to Chef June, everyone there feels like family. Service is quick and you leave satisfied for such an affordable price and a fabulous omakase experience. The fish is so fresh that it feels like the first time every time.
(G)o for girls night (W)owed by the attentive service (but management is very slow to reply) (A)mbiance was intimate and for pairs or couples (M)enu was limited but that's to be expected for omakase, portion sizes are very small. Best menu item was the uni shooter. Also flagging no drinks only mocktails.
