Unfortunately, the food was too salty. The lasagna was the only dish that was seasoned well. The interior is intimate and pretty though, good for date night if you just want to get drinks, which were nice and refreshing.
This restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere/decor. But sadly cant say the same about the food. The pastas and Pizza had very ordinary and bland flavors. Nothing unique or no depth of flavors like you would expect for a place like this. We had the Arrabiata pasta and Margarita Pizza which was not that great. They claimed to give home made pasta which was not the case..at least from the look and feel. Sauces on the pasta/pizza were bland and lack salt. The focacia was just a casual flatbread (
I visited Serafina in the Financial District and the experience was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a soft life moment in the city. I ordered the pasta with shrimp, and it was flavorful, creamy, and cooked just right. The portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
