Had a late morning meeting, close to Wall Street. Realized my brain would function better with a great cup of coffee. As I walked out of Rector street station, Siena Bakehouse appeared, and I took that as a sign, to sit, sip, and savor coffee. Siena Bakehouse did not disappoint! Upon arriving the gentleman behind the counter was warm, and delightful. All of the staff are friendly, personable, and take the time to explain where the coffee beans originated. Finally, a café in Lower Manhattan where you can actually sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee ☕✨ Siena Bakehouse is truly a hidden gem in the Financial District. The croissant was perfectly flaky, buttery, and incredibly fresh 🥐 you can immediately taste the quality. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, perfect for a peaceful break in the middle of the busy city. One of the best things about Siena Bakehouse is their beautiful indoor seating 🪑 which is actually rare to find in Lower Manhatt
Really nice bakery my always number one choice for breakfast while I’m in New York City. The staff are very polite and helpful and the bakery has a great range of options both salty and sweet ones. They also have fresh orange juice which is the highlight for me. It has enough space for you to sit down and enjoy it. Furthermore the bakery is located right across the subway station which makes it convenient to get wherever you want afterwards and start your day.
