The atmosphere really good and scenic. The server was patient and friendly. However she didn’t check the dishes before giving us a dirty glass of water. The crispy calamari with the banana peppers was ok including the mustard style sauce that came with it. The shrimp linguine was undercooked and seasoned-less however the presentation was good. The ambiance and location paired with one of the remaining beautiful days of summer are the only reasons this place was lovely. (I don't hold the construction that blocked the gorgeous sunset against them. The City is always improving.) And that's where the positive ends. Unfortunately, the service was s-l-o-w. Nice location all the way around, with a view of Battery Park, World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty across the water. Good food and the wine was lovely. Really recommend this restaurant, it definitely lives up to its name!
