This was my second time trying Van Leeuwen. The first time was just okay, but this visit definitely changed my mind! I ordered the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Brownie and it was really delicious. The only downside for me is the chunk ratio. I’ve been a big Ben & Jerry’s fan for years, where you get a massive mix-in in almost every single bite. Van Leeuwen is a bit more subtle. Ice Cream: The ice cream here was really good. The flavors are very deep, rich, and all well balanced. I got the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Brownie on a waffle cone and it was amazing; however, the waffle cone itself was very poor. The waffle cone was soft and somewhat mailable. I was able to bend the lip over without it cracking, so it gave it a soggy/uncooked texture. I would not get the waffle cone again.
