Wow, this was SUCH a great spot. This NYC chain is legendary for a reason. Beware, if you don’t like spicy food, this isn’t for you. Even on the “less spice” option, we were definitely feeling the heat. The noodles in the Cumin Lamb Noodles were the star of the show - so tender and full of flavor. The interior is simple and a little small, so I imagine during a lunch rush it could get crowded, but we were there at an off time so there was plenty of room.
I had the n2 spicy version. Noodles were so soft. I am used to eating spicy so planning to go to the extra spicy version next. Also the service was great and go to spot during a workday lunch for the spice lovers.
Wow, the heat was there boy! Not sure if i qualify for "white people" heat since im black but damn! FYI, I got the regular spice level, lol. Nah, but seriously, the food was so good! The taste of the pork ripped noodles was amazing! The lamb dumplings were incredible! I ended up dipping the noodles into the dumpling sauce at the end!
