Friend recommended this place! I ordered the strawberry matcha, bc staff said that was a must try/ most popular, and friend ordered the hojicha latte. This cute bakery was such a delight. They have a variety of options for people with dietary restrictions. The lady who worked inside was very helpful and sweet with explaining everything. I am gluten-free and I had plenty of options. I choose the Apple Cider donut and it was fantastic. She warmed it for me and I ate it inside. I am really looking forward to coming back to try their cream puffs.

The red hair-dyed woman actually making the drinks was more interested in talking to co-worker and seemingly wanting to preserve her energy by moving as little as possible. Small, insanely pretty spot. Really good coffee. Popular, but still quiet. There was only a raised counter with no barstools and a bench with no table, so it’s not a place to study or get work done, but it’s an excellent spot to stop and chat with friends, or take a quiet moment for yourself. Ordered their einspanner and it was so divine. Might be biased but einspanners are literally one of my fav coffee drinks, but ten thousand rlly hits the spot. Best Starbucks in the area. The coffee is consistently good here, which is surprisingly rare among Starbucks locations. I ordered the exact same drink at another nearby Starbucks when this store was closed, and it tasted completely different. In fact, it was so bad that it barely tasted like the same drink. The quality at this location is noticeably better. Also, the staff are nice and professional!

My favorite place ever ! After work I go here to have my favorite salmon toast and Cappuccino .Today I decided to spice things up and get salmon toast with prosciutto and feta cheese. This is new toast I asked to make for me and it was the Best Toast Ever! Hoping they will add this Toast to the menu for everybody ! Place has great atmosphere and amazing staff ! Great coffee spot! I was looking forward to trying this place out because they offer mugs for coffee and it didn't disappoint (I avoid spots that don't have mugs). I also like that they're open late, until 7pm every day. I always found it odd that almost every coffee spot in Brooklyn closes at 5 so it was nice to find this spot. I also tried the spiced pear tart and it was tasty (and homemade). I look forward to trying out their other treats.

Came here on a Wednesday at 10 PM for some late night shaved ice, the place has a very cozy atmosphere for the late hours. I got the chocolate shaved ice (since everyone seems to get mango) and loved how they decorated the ice a bit to look like a cute monster. Priced at ~$20 (they will ask for a tip) the ice is admittedly pricey but the portion is big, definitely designed for sharing. Besides the long-ish wait time for my order, I was overall satisfied here

My wife and I visited NYC during a blizzard and stopped to warm up with coffee and an almond milk matcha. They are top atmosphere is fun, coffee tasty and high quality, and the matcha was very healthy and could use some added sugar to sweeten it up. The baristas were awesome and provided fun and great service. We really enjoyed our first time to Gumptown.

recently visited kinship coffee this past week and it was so good! i ordered an iced latte with almond milk and maple syrup, you can tell how good the quality of the espresso is. genuinely one of the best iced lattes i’ve had in a while! if you like super sweet flavored drinks, i probably wouldn’t recommend this shop. the only flavors they have are honey, simple syrup, and maple syrup. they did have a couple seasonal flavors for the spring, rose and orange. if you enjoy a good, quality coffee th

I’ve never been here before but the barista Mirian was very helpful. I told her I didn’t want anything too sweet and she made me an Oat milk latte. She steamed the cinnamon in the milk and it made a pleasant difference, will be ordering it again.

On several occasions visiting this store my coffee was not made good and I had different people make it. Instructions were told on what I wanted in the drink and unfortunately they missed the point every time. On one occasion the drink was handed to me very sticky without help from the barrister who made the drink. The only reason he apologized was because I said something!!!! That is crazy to me. Otherwise for me it's a no. I enjoy Starbucks but this one is not it for me.

The chocolate babka is out of this world!! It’s so good I sent it to friends out of state! It was a hit all the around even after a few days in the mail. In addition to the baked goods being phenomenal the service is top notch! They are so kind and helpful and even do curbside delivery to your car. Coffee redefined is a gem!

Hungry Ghost is a competetent chain. But the service is non-existent. The staff doesn’t even bother saying hello, thank you, have a nice day, or even acknowledging your presence. You hear them talk and laugh among themselves, so they are capable of speech and emotion. I’d rather spend the $6-9 a beverage costs these days in another location.

Local coffee shop vibe where you see a little bit of the behind the scenes and the messiness of the space. I like that vibe, I used to study in that vibe for a long time. As for the coffee I think the roast is alright but not maybe as good as others. So it's good enough if it's the only game in town, which is reasonable. But it's not as good as Plowshares or others nearby. The roast is just missing a lot of the volatile tastes I expect. That or the brew was not done well, I can't tell.

I stopped at Gregorys Coffee for a quick break and tried their Americano with the Spicy Avo. The Americano had a smooth, bold taste that felt well-balanced and the Spicy Avo was fresh with just enough heat to make it interesting. The place has a bright, lively atmosphere and the staff handles the crowd pretty efficiently. It ended up being a solid spot to recharge for a few minutes. I'd definitely come back again.

Don't normally leave negative reviews but every-time I come in here I hope the cold brew will be better. It's just not good. There's multiple options as well but they just don't taste smooth. Most of the cafes around are greek spots that don't serve cold brew so it's disappointing that one of the only spots aside from starbucks/dunkin can't quite get it right. While walking around the upper east side, I decided to stop in to Java Girl and have a cup of coffee. I have passed by here many times but today was my first visit. It has a very laid back feeling. Barrels of coffee beans on the right along with assorted goods for sale. There is a small display case with some pastries. I just got a coffee and it was delicious. I found a nice comfortable seat on the left. There were a few other customers there plus a few tables outside. Excellent service.
