I was walking around the upper east side and ended up on Fifth Ave near the zoo. There I found the Arsenal building. I did not see any explanation but online I found it was built about 1850 to store Arms and ammunition for the NY state militia. A grand and beautiful old building sitting in the park facing Fifth Ave at 64th street. Right next to the zoo. Seems to now be offices for Central Park admin.

The selection of fibre is amazing! I went in blind and it was so bright and the most welcoming space. I forgot to ask the name of the person on shift today but they were so helpful and sweet. The Thai iced tea was yummy as well! Anytime im back in New York, I will absolutely visit again!

The ambient was good, calm for reading and talking. There was a couple of people that were not reading but hanging out, but still it did not interrupt your own reading session.
