Security is really good, the space it's also good. Waitresses are very friendly as well as the environmentl, very welcoming. Many start up artist/singers are always announced as well as those well known. Not fond of their food. Service it's really good will be visiting again.

This place has amazing food and the staff was very attentive. We called ahead to let them know we were celebrating a birthday and we were surprised with a nice set and decorated table which the birthday girl appreciated. Will definitely come again

What a beautiful, traditional cake! I haven’t seen a Dominican birthday cake like this since I was a little girl. My children and I enjoyed the flowers made of suspiro, and the cake was soft and delicious — pineapple filling, just like I had so long ago. I’m so grateful my husband happened upon this location. I requested the location name just so that I could order from here again in the future.

Very interesting lunch. The waitress was very sweet and helpful. We had the encebellado for the first time and it was quite tasty. We also had a shrimp ceviche that was good. We also had a breakfast dish that was mashed plantains with chicharron, cheese and egg with a steak on the side. The steak was a bit tough.

2nd time after my last visit in 3 years for a job training. Today’s ribs, fry rice and beans are delicious! Definitely the best spot in the area.

Looked nice from the outside, but once we walked in, it was not what we expected. Music was way too loud. I could barely hear my friend let alone my own thoughts or the bartender. We had to play point and guess for the flavor of hookah we wanted and the drinks were crazy expensive. We left, friend threw up right after. Definitely not going back.

Great spot if you like to be in a dark room with torn up furniture, questionable waitresses which seem to offer more than drinks and the security looking ready to rough you up. Oh and don’t forget to take a deep breath before walking in. There is a certain odor when you walk in.

This place is very small but dont let that fool you. The food is great and the people are amazing. The staff asked us if it was the first time here and she prepared a small little portion for us to try. Ending up buying 15pc of chicken with a large Chofan.. its a Chinese rice made with dominican flavor. They gave us some samples. It was a great place awesome atmosphere. The chef came out and spoke to us about his menu. I will be coming back for sure. The place was clean. No bathroom. The parkin

It’s absolutely perfect. The food is made quickly, and it’s exquisite. Every dish they have is made with the ideology of perfection. The cooks and servers and kind, regardless of the time of day. They always have great manners, and they’re always welcoming! Whether you’re dining here, or ordering to go, this restaurant is amazing. Top tier service and food. Would recommend

The food here was great. The empanadas, the rice, the beans, and more were delicious. The woman behind the counter is extremely nice and caring. The restaurant is clean and convivial. Would recommend to all who enjoy the flavors of Dominican Food/Latin cuisine.

Totally love the dinning atmosphere that show the passion and love. The food here is good and with lots of variety of choices. It’s one of my favorite coffee spot to go.

Cash price $2.50/tamal but they accept card which comes out closer to $3/each! Very cheap considering how good they are. I’ve been coming here for over a year now since it’s close to Silberman. Wow, I’ve never had a more perfect and lovingly handfolded tamal. And the man at the register is always so kind and nice. Let me explain these tamales… they’re so expertly folded they don’t need a string to tie it. It’s a real craft! Never a lick of masa out of place spilling out. Never dry or crumbly or

I drove 45 minutes from bushwick to come get a plate! I got there at opening so there was no wait. The service was nice & welcoming. They took down my number to call me back when the food was ready & the wait was less than 10 minutes. I’ve ate this plate from various places but I would say this is my favorite now. The food was soooo good! I got the steak with rice & a cheese empanada & jugo de parcha slushie! The slushieee was my fav. The empanada was nice and cheesy, not empty. The food was coo

Carter ! was amazing!!! So sweet and super helpful! We had an issue with a previous waiter before him, but he took care of us after, and was amazing! Food was a bit slow, but the vibes, music, food & drinks are all amazing! Will definitely be coming back here again. Cinco de mayo was packed and had a line out the door so come early on days like that!

I don’t usually leave reviews for Dominican restaurants because I’m Dominican and I know good food but I had such a great experience here that I had to share it. I only leave reviews when I’m either extremely impressed or very disappointed, and this place definitely impressed me. I originally went in for mangú, but I changed my mind about three times. The young lady in the back—the one with the nose piercings was so welcoming and polite. She even told me not to apologize and said it was her job.

Saw a video online for the breakfast burrito so I went to try it. I got a ice tea, empanada and burrito for 15 dollars the tea wasn't that great the empanada had great flavor and the sauce I was given was delicious the burrito was very small not like I saw in the video. The lady was friendly and they have a few seats if you want to sit there.

I like this location as I live 20 minutes away. The girls that work there are always helpful and friendly. The food there is always good and taste fresh. The only complain I have is that if it's 80 degrees outside, inside the store it feels like over 100 degrees. The owner of this location needs to stop putting all investments into his pockets and invest in a workable HVAC system. There is no AC whatsoever. This condition is unacceptable especially for the workers. As a customer I rather visit a

Phenomenal! Located at the Food Hall, from the moment we walked up to the counter, we were greeted by a big smile from Ellen and Ana. They were so helpful and patient explaining the sizes and the items on the menu. We ended up opting for medium Coxinhas (the croquetes) with half traditional chicken and half cheese. We also opted for a small side of Pastel (Brazilian empanadas) with one cheese and one beef. The food was ready in just a few minutes and again we were greeted with the utmost genuine

The service was horrible. My mom placed an order and once we got home we noticed we were missing a dish. She kindly called and let them know because she was charged for it. Honestly, this is one of the best Dominican restaurants in the city, but what really won me over was the beans. They're so good and I never really go for beans at most restaurants. Only thing that holds them back is the lack of chicken on occasion.

If you're strolling down Greenpoint Avenue in Sunnyside and craving something warm, fresh, and comforting, Greenpoint Bakery Café is a must-visit. This cozy spot serves up an impressive selection of Colombian baked goods that taste just like home — or better! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of fresh bread and pastries. Their pandebonos and almojábanas are absolute standouts — perfectly cheesy, soft on the inside, with a delicate crust. The buñuelos are golden, airy, and ju

ECUADOR 🇪🇨 Eat the World NYC review: As you might expect if you know a little bit of Spanish, a picantería is traditionally a place that sells spicy foods. Typically a lunch establishment, the word is actually more associated with the country of Perú than Ecuador, but in New York City it seems exclusively reserved for establishments of the latter's community. Often times they are open for dinner as well here, and serve as a watering hole like this one in Jackson Heights that I have always been

They have disgusting customer service. I went into their establishment and was telling the woman my order, and she had a very bad attitude, which ruined my entire food experience. I understand people have their moods and interacting with many people within a day can be draining, but there is a certain level of respect that must be upheld when interacting with customers paying for a service. Their empanadas are good, but it is not worth the rude treatment. I won’t be returning to this establishme

Delicious coffee, always clean. They have staff for every post. The staff use gloves when preparing meals. Not, like other DD stores that have one staff, that does all the work or other DD stores where staffs don’t use gloves. This place is the best DD store and they do well cut your cream cheese bagels, without telling them.

Colombian cafe. Empanadas are $4.25, 3 flavors (Chicken, Beef, Hawaiian). They are baked, not fried and they are flaky! 1 is a good snack, 2 could be a very filling snack. They are big. Suggest you call ahead if they have empanadas available. Arrived late morning on a weekday and they were none remaining in the front but they were kind enough to heat more with a 25ish minute wait. Small space, 2 tables inside and 1 table outside.

Im a truck OTR truck driver and I was waiting to be unloaded near by 5 minutes walking distance. Place closes at 6 it was like 5.45 and I was hungry so I decided to go for it and see if I make it before closing. As I walked up the gate was going down half way and this nice lady saw me and raised the gate back up. It was so nice of her. I tried their baked chicken and rice it was amazing cooked to perfection. If I'm ever around in the area definitely going there again. Big 👍

We popped in for some food, and this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had food wise. They were out of a lot of things when we came in which was kind of ridiculous (like rice…who runs out of rice lol) but we still rolled with it. One in our party asked for extra shrimp and we got charged for double the entree. The shrimp was even overcooked. The steak that I got was swimming in juices; it was basically in its own soup. Someone else in our party got a fried chicken that had…no chicken. Crazy
