This was such a cute little spot to check out for lunch. The lady at the front was such a sweetheart but the food was AMAZING!!! We had the rice and peas with goat and it was very good. Well seasoned it wasn't spicy at all which was perfect for my uncle, I asked for pepper sauce lol. Beef Empanadas were big and had plenty of meat and flavor. I'm from Texas so flavor is a must for me. Great food and great customer service, I'll be back for sure!

This is a great counter order restaurant. I'm not sure what is wrong with everyone leaving 1 star reviews but you need to go to their little counter and look at the food to see what looks good that day. This is not the place to get grilled chicken breast because that's not the style that is good. Also, dark chicken meat is always more delicious so go make your little grilled chicken at home and stop thinking restaurants will cook it to your tastes when you go out. The food is very good, no doubt about it. The young guy is very friendly and provides great service. However, the older man’s service is very poor. He seems to work with a bad attitude, doesn’t pay attention to the order, and even stops in the middle of taking it to answer the phone. That’s very rude and unprofessional.

Coronas at night at $6 plus $1 tip for the guys, if you buy a a corona (non alcoholic) for one of the dancer girls it will be $20 plus $2 tip. They drink those non alcoholic coronas fast so if you want the dancer girls to stick around they put pressure on you to pony up

I ordered 2 empanadas and she gave me 3. I returned to the store to return one after I had touched it. She took it back and places it back in the tray for sale. That is against NYC hygiene contamination policy. Also, the manager is very arrogant. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, she threw the change back at my face. Very unprofessional.

I haven’t had pupusas since I went to El Salvador a few months ago, so I was extremely happy when I stumbled upon this place. The pupusas were crispy but still soft and the filling was so delicious! I will definitely be coming back!

Otherway Kitchen is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Dominican food! The patelitos are my absolute favorite — crispy, flavorful, and always fresh. And don’t even get me started on their fritura, perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and full of that real Dominican taste that reminds you of home. I just left my folks house for the first time in a long time, when I feel home sick and miss my mom’s cooking this is close to it for me. Im so happy it's only 2 blocks away too. They have great service the employees are so sweet and welcoming. I can come in and get great meal all day and night (they close fairly late) if I feel like getting a delivery they deliver so fast. I love their food great Dominican food just how it should be cooked in my opinion.

This Place has amazing food . My favorite on the menu is the Mixed fritura platter , the meat is so well seasoned and tender . The healthy smoothies & natural juices are so Delicious too .
