Lucia Pizza has always been one of my husband’s favorite childhood spots. I didn’t grow up with it, but after he introduced me to it, I completely understood why he loved it so much. Now I’m a fan of their classic regular slice too! We’re both so excited they opened in Baysid, being able to enjoy it anytime makes it even better🍕

The sliced weekly special pizza was crispy when it was hot and that was good, once it cooled down it was nowhere near as good. We also got a pepperoni thick grandma style pizza as well, thought that was ok. The dough was not as crunchy I would’ve liked. The salad was ok! The nuts made it taste good. Definitely a fast food place.

Pizza is really good and decent for prize. I tried their regular and Caesar salad slice and it was really good tasting, they also have Korean street food. It is a no frills pizza spot with a good amount of seating and fairly clean.

This was a good pizza spot... however, what I loved about it was the mozzarella sticks! They were so warm, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. The pizza was pretty good as well, but the mozzarella sticks really stole the show!

So we ordered pizza and only after paying we notice there are no sits. And it was raining outside, and no way we could find a place to sit. We nicely asked the guy to be understanding of the situation and let us have our pizza inside. And even seeing the rain outside he kicked us out saying there is no way we can eat inside. Nobody treats an animals like that let alone human. The worst place I have ever ordered pizza!!!!!!!!

We stopped in when we saw the sign for the breakfast focaccia — SO WORTH IT. The flavor, the freshness, the authenticity, everything about it was amazing, and at such an affordable price. The owner is so kind and talked to us about his Italian roots. Definitely worth stopping in for the focaccia alone, & I can’t wait to try the pizza next!

I ordered the plain cheese pizza. The chicken parmigiana with ziti was a generous portion. The food was average in taste and flavor.

This is perfect for what it is..a quality, convenient, low priced slice. Located right across from Yankee stadium.. the pizza was ready to go immediately, the dough had a good texture and it waa super affordable. Will grab anothet slice before my next Yankees game.

Pretty standard fare. Got the 2 slice + knots for $5 special. At that price you kinda assume the risk that the food might not be great. This slice was decent but too much sauce not enough cheese to balance it out. Crust was pretty solid. The garlic knots were a lil too on the herby side not enough garlic/butter - the texture, however, was spot on. Chewy and moist.

I ordered on the app, 2 order of fries and honestly very disappointed. 1 of them barely had and half filled. Not worth it. Also the mini cinnamon rolls on the app it says 10 and I only got 8. I suggest that you always check your food before leaving the store and making sure you’re getting what you ordered.

Was just walking by and had some extra cash on me and was hungry. Their $1.50 cheese pizza has got to be one of the best ways to keep you moving in this neighborhood. I haven’t had the actual pizza but was looking for pizza dough in the neighborhood to make pizza at home with my kids. The guys were so sweet. When Champion tried to charge me a whole cooked pie for a ball of raw dough, Lucia did not disappoint. The dough was delicious, the service impeccable. I will be back for the pizza when I feel less ambitious.

I've been buying pizza here for 10+ years now. Times have changed with pandemic etc and the hardship is noticable, but the pizza is still great and the atmosphere is still welcoming and friendly. Regular large cheese pizza is the same size and same quality as it's always been and the price is better than anywhere else. My favorite local pizzeria on SI. Highly recommended. When I saw this location at the Barclays Center, I was skeptical. Is this the beginning of the end of good things growing too fast? Rest assured, it is not the end.
