What an awesome old-school authentic spot! My wife and I had lunch here and absolutely loved the food, the ambiance and especially the incredible, lovely woman behind the bar, Eileen. We were trying to decide between the reuben and the BLT sandos and she quickly suggested doing a taste-off. Nice! So we ordered both and seriously they are LEGIT. Not a bad little Irish pub. The food is fine, the beers are little warm to be honest, but the inside is cozy, nice, and it’s a fun spot to hang out and have some appetizers. Not a bad spot, and I might come back at some point. One note, for larger groups (we were 5), they do not split the bill.

This was a nice bar and restaurant. I came here on the weekend, it was pretty busy. The food and service was great. The staff were really kind. They offered us free samples of the soup before deciding. The drinks aren't that expensive during happy hour. Happy hour happens every day starting from 5pm. It's nice being able to get affordable drinks in Manhattan.

Derive wasn’t super consistent, they didn’t come by to check on us much, i believe because they were so busy. Guinness and burger is counts, so 5 stars it is. This smash burger is top tier. Excellent double patty cooked and seasoned to perfection, cheese, sautéed onions, and a delicious bun. Tater tots were a surprisingly small portion. One star on the sriracha cauliflower. Deep fried and not much sriracha. Otherwise the space is very clean with comfortable, relaxed decor. Not the typical pub crowd chasing Guinness, but nonetheless a nice time. Friendly and quick service.

Always a hit! I have been here many many times, and it is always great! Atmosphere is great, food is always delicious, servers are always kind and sweet! True definition of an Irish pub. Lots of locals having a good time, plenty of options on tap and service with a smile. The place is really big inside, tons of seating options: along the bar, high tops and even a huge space in the back. They serve traditional bar food from burgers to pizza all well made. If you are trying to be healthy they do have salads, ask for the Honey Dijon vinaigrette dressing. It’s so good! If you live in Woodside this definitely should be come your local hangout.

Walked in at 10:30a on a Saturday morning. There was no wait. Ordered a long black and an orange juice. Long black wasn't great, OJ wasn't fresh, more like cold pressed whole foods style OJ We got the ricotta hotcakes and they were great. The compound whipped butter was also great. After a while we ended up talking to the owners and they are truly some wonderful people. We talked about Greece, Greek coffee and a plethora of things. First of all, really appreciate the simple menu. The chicken was delicious and wasn’t dry. The half and half bowl with salad and rice was a great option. It’s basically all the nutrients you need for a meal in a bowl.

The restaurant has a area for sitting if you want to eat and another section if you want to drink at the bar. We had a nice lady who attended us and was quick with our orders. The food was pretty good. The mac and cheese was very cheesy. I thought it was cool they brought the burger with the toppings on the side so it didn’t get soggy and you can add it yourself after. The food is made fresh everyday so I recommend trying it out.

Donnybrook was a fun place for a nightcap, but it definitely wasn't my favorite bar that I went to while in NYC. It didn't feel like it had that much personality or a unique identity, and nothing about it really stuck out. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing bad about it, there just wasn't anything particularly notable. I would recommend as a place to wrap up your night however.

Went for the first time the weekend after Paddy's day and the great band Watchfire was playing great Irish tunes. Cranberries, Galway Girl, Rattlin' Bog etc. Lots of fun favorites and high energy. Good crowd but the bartenders served you quickly and were pleasant even as it got busier. I'll definitely return!

I was on holiday from Ireland recently and what a great bar, a hidden gem. The bar man had to deal with a group with absolutely no manners so I felt bad for him but he dealt with them like a pro. Me and my partner wanted food and were pointed in the right direction by the bar man. I will definitely be back again.
