We ordered from there a ton and never had any issues. I'm sorry other people had those experiences. I don't think they should shut down maybe a review of the health yes. I've probably eaten here maybe 30 times in the last year. I work a lot. They have the best prices and always put the correct amount of beef for the beef and broccoli. Makes me smile every time. Stopped by Serano Bakery while walking around Astoria and it instantly became a favorite. They have a wide selection of gelato with rich, creamy flavors , you can actually see how fresh everything is. The pastries in the display also look amazing. I got a waffle cone with two flavors and it was delicious. Friendly service and great variety. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I came in for some tacos and left very happy! Ordered the birria tacos and steak tacos which were flavorful, juicy, and filled with cheese, onions, green peppers, cilantro. Staff were very friendly and I loved the atmosphere as they were playing good music in the back.

I’m giving it four stars because for 10 dollars it was a large cup of pasta and the service was really nice, extra friendly considering the large crowd on a Friday night. The gnocchi pesto pasta was tasty. Large pieces of gnocchi. Some smaller pieces of chicken. Satisfying. Bae and I split a cup. I think we will come back and try another pasta flavor. This place is a gem of a neighborhood bar with a great beer selection, incredible cocktails, a solid NA lineup, and music that actually slaps (especially when DJ Gean is spinning/jukebox). This place used to be good value but they changed things and lost on quality and taste. The patty melt was decent but they changed the bread to some thin, chewy thing and it came cold… on one of the hottest days. Fries were cold as well and soggy, milkshake was basically foamy milk and the burger was flavorless. Not worth it anymore, glad we didn’t do two combos.

I feel ripped off. I come here often for the fruit salad because they used to have two sizes and the portions were very generous. Today, I came back for the fruit salad with ice cream—which is usually the largest option—and they charged me $15 for this container that is less than half the usual size. I feel completely scammed. This Resturant is guaranteed to mess up your order. They messed up my order twice in the past. And now today and yesterday they messed up my order back to back again. I place online order and every time they forget the eggs or they forget the sausages or they forget the toast. The owner needs to be aware that workers are incompetent. How can it be hard to mess up an online order that specifically says what the order is?

The woman in the front was very sweet. The establishment is small but has a few tables for you to dine at. The bagel itself was super large and airy but unfortunately on the dry side. Stopped into Make Believe Bakeshop and was seriously impressed. I just grabbed a drip coffee and a slice of carrot cake, and both were excellent. The coffee was smooth, clean, and way better than your average drip — you can tell they care about their beans. The carrot cake was moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet, with that perfect spice balance. Super friendly vibe inside too. Easy place to pop in, enjoy something good, and feel taken care of. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Astoria.

The mango bear is cute but the taste is mid. I also ordered the ice chiffon cake, the cream was way too much and the taste is also so-so. Then when I ordered the small espresso, the coffee was the amount of a taste test and it wasn’t even full… And in the google maps, they show a picture of a daifuku and they said they didn’t sell it… so why put that picture if you aren’t planning to sell it?
