Colombian cafe. Empanadas are $4.25, 3 flavors (Chicken, Beef, Hawaiian). They are baked, not fried and they are flaky! 1 is a good snack, 2 could be a very filling snack. They are big. Suggest you call ahead if they have empanadas available. Arrived late morning on a weekday and they were none remaining in the front but they were kind enough to heat more with a 25ish minute wait. Small space, 2 tables inside and 1 table outside.

I’ve been to Omonia in Astoria a few times before and always appreciated the quick and pleasant service. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was quite disappointing. We went to celebrate a friend’s wedding registration — a special occasion — and the experience left a lot to be desired. To start, it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive. When they finally did, the server accidentally spilled them on us. Mistakes happen, but what made it worse was the lack of urgency or care afterward. T

It’s my first time here... I loved walking in and smelling that delicious aroma of fresh bread. Seeing the variety they have—wow, I was impressed. And now that I’m actually eating it, I can say I’ve finally found my favorite spot for Mexican bread; we don’t need to go to Brooklyn anymore. Delicious.

Don’t let the name change fool you! It’s still the same taco truck taco del Rey to go turned restaurant you know and love. And if you don’t know, go once get the taco platter with Tinga and steak and a grand bulldog and you’ll fall in love! My boyfriend and I travel here from Long Island specifically for these tacos and drinks! Great vibe great staff great energy. Truly love it there! This seedy place is a blight on our neighborhood. Their bouncers illegally block street parking with cones at night to provide valet service to their degenerate customers. I encourage everyone to report them to the city if you see them doing it.

Great STAFF! For it to have only been two employees I feel the handled 6 customers quite well! I had only been in the area for a second & needed a pick me up lol. Was watching a Knicks game at their bar. I ordered a Moscow Mule twice. Initially they charged me $20.32 for it and I gave a tip. However, for my second Moscow mule they charged me $24.06! I would have let it slide but the bartender that was serving me gave me attitude the entire night for no reason. Definitely double check your receipts if you plan or getting drinks here.

Avoid this place at all costs. I experienced an alarming food safety issue that caused personal injury! There was a tiny, seemingly metal, black ball in my chicken quesadilla that I got delivered from this restaurant. It was so small that it was not noticed until I was eating it. The metal ball broke my tooth when I bit down on it. I am highly considering litigation over this with the restaurant. This is beyond unacceptable. Needless to say I will never ever subject myself to this restaurant

Stumbled upon this place by chance and was really impressed. I tried the pan queso and the bunuelos. Both were delicious and freshly made. Also grabbed an iced coffee, which hit the spot. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a café. Definitely worth a visit!

The food at the gym is not only the best food that I’ve ever tasted, but the staff is so kind and friendly. I feel like I am in my mother‘s kitchen. I love to come here that only for the food, but the overall atmosphere the food is great. The music is great. The vibe of pure eats is amazing And I hope everyone decides to try it. You won’t regret it.

The bartender Justina was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Her drinks were perfectly made, balanced, and clearly crafted with skill. On top of that, her energy and personality really stood out she’s very friendly, attentive, and just genuinely fun to be around. You can tell she loves what she does. I’ll definitely be coming back and hoping she’s behind the bar!
