Came here for Cinco de Mayo and had an amazing experience! I was surprised by how many places weren't really participating in the holiday, but Anita Cuisine definitely came through. The music was great and the vibes were on point. We ordered the taco platter for $45, and it was absolutely worth it—great quality and easily fed four of us. To top it off, we got to meet the owner, who was so nice and kept checking in on our table to ensure we were taken care of. There are still so many drinks and d

I bought 2 Tres Leches here. I don’t generally leave reviews, but these tres leches were the worst I’ve had in my life. Thick layer of frosting on top with what seemed like artificial vanilla flavoring. The cake itself wasn’t a spongy/moist cake, more of a regular Dominican cake. Lastly, the milk smelled and tasted rotten. I also got some natural Chinola juices which were good.

Mexican joint serving tortas, tacos & other classic eats in a cozy, no-frills deli.
Terrible service. Zero stars. Not recommended. It is not clean to eat here. Let me explain to you, the employee who serves in front has a bad character when it comes to serving customers, she rolls her eyes when you explain your complaint, rude behavior, if she doesn't like her job, she shouldn't be there. What they prepare is of poor quality... my chocolate drink was almost water with no flavor... I asked for a spoon and she gave me a plastic knife to mix my drink. She showed the envelope she u

Our first night in New York. With 16 hours of travelling we took up the advice of the hotel and came to this place for diner! I really love bachata so the owner did a dance with me and also the other staff did there upperbest to give us a real warm welcome. My daughter just turned 21 so we did our first tequila shot on the house and also we got real fireworks and great birthday dessert. Thank you for this staff of Legacy Bar & Grill! You were the best start of our NY trip! Food, cocktails and th

I visited this bakery to avoid heading to Dyckman, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I spent $58 on a cake, a few cuban pastry (empanada Cubano), and pastelitos (Dominican pastelitos). Instead of making them fresh, they had the audacity to give me the ones that had been sitting on the shelf. For that kind of money, I expected better quality. I won’t be spending my money here again—next time, I'll just stick to bakery in Dyckman , no se puede ser tan mala fe.

Stepping inside is absolutely beautiful there's red floral decorations that make it the perfect photo op. I was with a group of friends that ordered different things ranging from a crab dish to mofongo and everything was delicious. The only downside is how horrible the service is. There were only a handful of tables when I went but it took 45 minutes after ordering to get my food. I understand if the food is freshly made, but our server didnt even check on us. Another server stopped by to ask if

It hit all the marks. After walking around the heights for a while, we noticed that this was virtually the only restaurant open on that Sunday morning. From the moment you step in you step in you are greeted with characteristic latino charm, that can probably be intimidating for someone who is not familiar with that style (i.e calling you my love, child, etc) or who feels selfconscious about their Spanish. The ladies behind the counter were extremely patient with me since I was not familiar with

Food is all fantastic, my favorite order from them all the time is Singapore mie-fun. And they have a great staff, with precision prepared cooking, a tradition authentic Chinese food. Most of all, Happy World has the best price compared with others in this neighborhood.

If you’re in New York and getting your fruita or a chimi anywhere else — it should be considered a crime! This is the spot for all your Dominican cravings. They have the best chimi and best fruita hands down. The Longaniza con Batata Frita is out of this world — I’m telling you, nothing beats it. Take my word for it: leave everything on the chimi — don’t take a single thing off! The flavors come together perfectly. They also have a food truck, but I highly recommend visiting the store on St. Ni

This place has authentic dominican food. They're know to have "The best goat meat in New York." I couldn't agree more. If you're a goat fan, come eat here. This time I got the oxtails and it was delicious. My favorite thing here is the Gandules beans. They only make them on Thursdays and Saturdays so make sure get. The atmosphere is relaxed. Kind of like a "hole in the wall place." It's for loyal customers who knows about this place. The food is a must try. Stop here the next time you're in Wash

The best Thai in the neighborhood, by far. Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Massaman/Red/Green curries, Larb Gai, Thai Peanut Dumplings and all variations of their Thai Tea are delicious. I have dined in and taken out here a number of times and can highly recommend both. They're they are very on point for their takeout

I used to love this Chinese food spot, but now it's questionable. Last time I ordered here, I had to throw it away in the garage. The chicken wings were so small they made me think they were pigeon wings. Grossed me out, they were never that small few years back.

Go in there for coffee every morning; always get a hello, the young guy working at the counter is a very nice kid. The guy running the grill has started a little business of selling his baked goods, which are excellent. As far as bodegas go a good neighborhood spot. I’m not sure why I have seen comments that talk about the service, but my experience has been a complete opposite having just moved the neighborhood.

Typical Mexican restaurant in the hood. I was the only customer here. Not sure why but this place is never busy. My only complaint is that the margarita was served in a martini glass and I felt skipped out. Otherwise the food was fresh and good. Not amazing but not awful either.

Small, but clean interior with a few tables availble for dine-in service. The seafood on display appeared to be fresh. The restaurant opted for a QR menu, which was not as convenient as a physical menu, but the staff was readily availble to assist. The food was good, and I will return for more.

Very disappointed with my experience at Fresh Stop located at 326 Audubon Avenue between 181st and 182nd Street. This is now the second time I’ve had a bad experience there. The customer service was terrible, and today’s service was completely unacceptable. The food was horrible — everything tasted burnt, which is a serious health concern. Food should at least be cooked properly before being served to customers. I gave this place another chance, after ordering chicken wings and were raw in the i

Went to this restaurant for a quick meal...I was served by Allyna, Victoria and Doriss. They explained the different ways to order, and pointed out the items on the buffet. The restaurant was clean and easy to get to. The food was hot and DELICIOUS! This would be a great first date, tourist or evening meal place. RECOMMENDED!
