Met up with a friend here and it was a little quiet on a Monday night MLK weekend, but the bar tender was phenomenal! The space is very cute and cozy! Love how they have black owned liquors which the bar is very curated and intentional. I love Gin and Tonics mainly for a more “healthier” option when enjoying a cocktail. The bartender recommended Julía which is a black owned Gin, I tend to reach for Hendricks or Monkeys which they had both, but the Julía was a smooth finish and great choice! Also

I was so excited to place on order based on reviews. So I’m not going to say that the food was the worst but the oxtail wasn’t the greatest, barely had flavor. I asked for lots of oxtail gravy and whatever they put is more drenched in black pepper and see no residue of gravy. The food was good but it took forever! There was a consistent line of 8-10 people at 8am on a Thursday. There were plenty of employees but the person making burritos was also the one restocking items on the line. Ordered some shrimp tostadas from this place today and they were amazingly delicious. The tortilla by itself was delicious let alone the other ingredients on it well worth the $6. The lady was nice when I ordered and accommodated my request of no cheese on 3 of the tostadas. The place is a lil hidden gem if you’re in the mood for something delicious that’s gona make you shake your head and say yeah that’s it then stop by and try their tostadas.

We ordered Mango Cloud 2 cake and it was really really delicious, very light and airy. We usually can never finish a birthday cake but we could eat this whole cake in one sitting. Absolutely amazing experience. It made our day.
