Very sad to write this. I have been going here nearly every week for 6 months or more. Sometimes my partner comes with me. I order a salad, she gets a sandwich. Last week I took a bite of her sandwich that we had just unwrapped and there was a sizable twig that looked like it came off the ground *inside* the speck meat. Nice neighborhood sandwich shop with a solid menu. Sandwiches are nicely prepared fresh, are filling, and large in portion -- I was feeling full after eating the first half. Space is also bright, airy, and well kept. Perfect place for a quick afternoon bite with some chips on the side.
This is a very disappointing sandwich place. I got a turkey sandwich and they put only two thin slices of turkey. I asked them for more and they put two more. For a $13 sandwich this is really ridiculous. Don’t recommend. Just go to the bodega around the corner.
