3 of my coworkers and I visited Relax bar on friday 8/2/24. We were all AMAZED AT The great service. Given the establishment was empty because it was 2:45pm on a friday. I don’t know where to start! The team at Susan’s Kitchen was amazing and their food was unforgettable! Our corporate anniversary party was wonderful and an absolute success thanks to them! Really enjoyed our meal at Alison at St. Mark’s. The crispy calamari was great, and the onion soup was warm and comforting especially when it’s so cold outside! We also tried the pasta and the salmon burger — both were very good. For dessert, we had the Belgian waffle to my taste was a bit too sweet and New York cheesecake was great. Go in there for coffee every morning; always get a hello, the young guy working at the counter is a very nice kid. The guy running the grill has started a little business of selling his baked goods, which are excellent. As far as bodegas go a good neighborhood spot. I’m not sure why I have seen comments that talk about the service, but my experience has been a complete opposite having just moved the neighborhood.

Love the bar space! Vibe was on point and super affordable drinks. Walked by and it called me in… Really cool decor - makes me think of a “sleep no more” kinda vibe. Bartender was awesome, drinks were well priced. Loved the wine on tap, and the cocktail my friend got was super tasty, and the band playing was great. Fair prices too too - highly recommend. Our cashier was super nice and the food was great. I ordered the GCT Combo with a Chicken breast and thigh along with Mac n Cheese. The chicken was moist and fried that left me wanting more. The Mac n Cheese is definitely cheesy and filling. Why this spot is more busy is a mystery to me.

Thought I’d try something new today so I stopped into The Black Bull. It looked like a nice bar. At 1:15pm (15 minutes after the bar opened) I left because of the horrible crowd. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 20 years, I’ve seen good bars come and go. This place is a fad right now that won’t last. I won’t be back.

Thank you Matrix Lounge for hosting my Husbands 50th birthday party last night. Everything was perfect, great atmosphere, music and food was very good. The entire staff were very pleasant, friendly and very welcoming to all of my guest. Thank you for a great night and memorable night for the birthday guy. Uncle Sal’s is the real deal! Super clean spot with some of the best smash burgers on Staten Island. I ordered delivery and the food came fast, piping hot, and perfectly packaged. The BBQ Smash Burger is a must-try—packed with flavor and cooked just right. Don’t skip the fries either, they’re crispy and seasoned to perfection. Definitely my new go-to burger spot on the South Shore!

Heavenly Pizza is just that. Heavenly. From the top notch customer service to the delicious aromatic dishes/pizza. I had such an amazing experience having my birthday party here !!! The owners are so so nice and really helped me plan the most iconic party. They let us bring in our own DJ and had some great catered food they made for us throughout the night. All the workers helped make sure the night went smooth and were soooo nice . I 100% recommend having a private party here !! 👌🏻

I cannot express how incredible of a night I had here! Here’s the story: friends birthday. I had candles but nothing to put them in. Hank’s got a piece of cake from their sister Resturant next door (21) DELICIOUS BTW, brought it over free of charge and we had a lovely surprise. Amazing people, great vibes, even better drinks!
