I ordered 3 garlic fried rice. It tastes good, but the chicken was extremely dry. The portion size is very good. I don't like how the place is crowded with men who were consuming alcohol and very rowdy. When you walked in, the men had something to say to women customers.

A hidden gem. The rice noodles are fantastic. The broth is rich, maybe a little overly oily but I love that. Comes in a heated pot that keeps the soup hot. I'd recommend the original soup base and the beef rice noodles.

In early 2025, the young lady that takes the order was exceptionally thoughtful. She added Broccoli to my order to accommodate my wanting broccoli. She slways smiles when greeting her customers. I love their Veg Soup with Tofu and their curried shrimp with veggies & white rice

This restaurant tastes super good, and the quantity is very affordable! Raw fried buns are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, tender and juicy. Beef skewers, mutton skewers, I want to eat them every day! There are so many crab yolk noodles with crab meat and crab yolk. I can't eat all the amount of beef noodles. I like every one!

I always place delivery orders by phone. The staff is consistently friendly, quick delivery servcie, and the food is reasonably priced. Most importantly, it's delicious! I'm quite critical, and I can honestly say this is the best Chinese food around.

The dude that answers the phone is rude as all hell. Terrible customer service. The guy clearly doesn't understand English. I speak with proper grammar so maybe it threw them off. Who knows? Their menu also claims that they deliver by car. I'm here to let everyone know that is not true. You could live 2 minutes away and they still won't deliver. I was exhausted from work and didn't feel like walking the 4 blocks. I waited over an hour just to be told they don't come my way and they don't drive.

I’ve been ordering from King Garden for well over a decade. I usually get the fried tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce, fried chicken wings or General Tso Chicken. What strikes me every time is how fresh the vegetables are, tasty and clean tasting (and not gloppy) the sauces are and fresh and pure the tofu is. Also, I love their egg rolls! This place is my go-to takeout place. The food just tastes better here from my experience. Been here several times and it's always been good. My favorite dish is their cheese wonton, highly recommend if you like cheese. Ordered a lunch special chicken cashew and it was delicious.

Hi, I order chicken and broccoli from this place and I was very disappointed. It appears that they too are doing shrinkflation on us. I was pissed because they barely gave me any chicken, some flimsy small pieces and is probably the dark part of the chicken which we know cost less. I ordered everything from egg rolls to the whole fish superb. Everything was fresh and reminded me of when I was a kid. My Mom worked in chinese take out she would make the eggrolls and wontons this food reminded me of that time. Finally the taste I remember. Thank YOU

My favorite are the spare rib tips and the sesame chicken. The rib tips have a menthol taste that is hard to describe but it’s exquisite and the sesame chicken is the best in the Bronx. The food is so good I order it every week. I wish the egg rolls were fatter but it’s okay.

I had an amazing experience at Hops Kitchen today! The beef and broccoli was so good. The cheese wontons were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The BEST Chinese in NYC. I’ve lived all over the country, but this place has by far some of the best Chinese food. Rice = perfection. Sesame chicken = perfection. Orange chicken = perfection. I also order a side of pineapples (excellent to-go packaging). I’ve even put some locals onto this spot & they also agree it’s some great Chinese food.

Not the best quality panda express i’ve been to. The food was ok but can be better. Staff is very attentive when it comes to getting your order. The staff cleaning up needs to pay attention to detail. Terrible garbage $21 for a general chicken lunch special dumpling and a Snapple ok but the sauce used here for the dumpling is disgustingly bad bad smell weird looking threw it in the garbage the chicken looked like garbage as well my aunt said what is this we have to start holding these place accountable so they will get shut down like what are you feeding the people in the community? They don’t care just tryna make a buck and then have the nerve to be demanding a tip ?

Food here is fresh and fast. Portions are great too. The soups that come with the specials are awesome. My favorite is the wonton soup. Handmade wontons go nice with the green onions. I go here pretty often to grab a bite when I’m at work. Thanks so much! ❤️

I ordered a chicken with broccoli and what I received had nothing to do with what I asked for. The customer service was terrible — I was treated rudely, as if serving customers was a burden. The place looks dirty, with no hygiene standards at all, and it honestly makes you question whether it’s even safe to eat the food they serve. The entire experience was unpleasant from start to finish. I demand an immediate solution: either a full refund or the correct replacement of my order.

Food here is totally under the radar. They have Chinese food that tastes like how you expect Chinese food to taste. Chicken broccoli 🥦 is saucy you can always ask for extra sauce chicken wings are crispy you can ask for them to chop it up. I like this place, but maybe it will be a hint. I ordered chicken rice soup, but I was planning to eat it next day. What i saw the next day was a porridge with rice and chicken (I know that rice absorb water) but… maybe it will help to serve the food with a little logic. I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. It was tasty and the shrimp were very good. The chicken chow fun was a generous portion of flat noodles. The young chow fried rice was prepared with white rice lightly fried with a mixture of shrimp, pork and chicken.
